Hello, friend! I’m Kate Woods-Hiserodt, owner and calligrapher of Ever Etched Calligraphy. I am based in Tulsa, OK, but serve nationwide! I specialize in calligraphy, hand engraving, hot-foiling, and live-event services.
Handwriting has always been a passion of mine. Ever since we first learned to write our names in school, I remember wanting mine to look perfect. Compliments about my handwriting have always secretly been my favorite and most affirming. Throughout the years, I practiced constantly—experimenting with different styles and eventually discovering my love for calligraphy. At first, it was just something I did for fun: writing birthday cards, creating event signage, and decorating whatever I could find.
When I got married in March 2025, I took on my first “real” project—I designed all of my wedding signage, addressed the invitations, and created custom place cards. I loved every part of the process, from designing to writing. Seeing my vision come to life made me wish it would never end!
Then, almost as if it were meant to be, I came across a post about calligraphy engraving. It instantly caught my attention. The very next day, I bought the supplies, started engraving on whatever I could find in my house, quickly fell in love with it—and here we are today!
